New footstraps and... WOO-HOO!!! :-)

Absolutely stonking! Have got to the stage now I¥m so comfortable at speed I can start going for gybes. Managed to get the back foot out and unhook without affecting the trim, and carve the 1st half of each gybe. Rig flipping and the ¥3 left feet¥thing had me swimming each time, but it¥s a lot further than I¥ve been before.

Even got cocky enough to try that thing where you let go with the front hand to touch the water to your side... ended up with me nose-down on the sail, but it¥s been a long time since I felt happy enough to try these new things.

Totally and utterly brilliant, shame my back has to pay the next day! :-/
